A3-A4 Assignment February 17,2010

I know you'll all be sad to learn I won't be here today since I'll be at the East Region Spelling Bee. You may be even sadder to learn you have another writing prompt.
Actually, the writing in this class was phenomenal last time (except for one outlaw who didn't turn over his assignment--I won't say his name, but I have a feeling he's BEEN down some rough ROADS lately).
Now go to http://my.hrw.com/support/hos/hostpdf/hosthsprompts.pdf. It's a pdf file but you all should have adobe or foxit reader. You can choose from either the first or second writing prompt; "High School Cause and Effect Prompt" or "High School Definition Prompt."
I'm not going to dictate the length of the essay but I know you'll want to do your very best and work on this until about 2:00.
Then, go to here. Download the practice test and answer every question to the best of your ability. Some of the unfamiliar but I'll let you use the Internet to look up the answers you don't know. Since you'll be able to look up the answers I know you'll do very well.
